Day 5 – Cycling advanture at Pokhara

Then second day we move to another hotel namely hotel panas for only 800 rupee and then we hire a mountain bike around 800 rupee to cycle to Devil fall & World Peace Stupa to have a view of Pokhara and the Annarpurna view.

Our cycling journey start from the middle of the Lake Fewa cycle toward the south until the end of the lake and there are a police station on the right before the little roundabout. Then take a right turn or 3 o’clock road until a T-junction where there is signage to Damside & world peace stupa. Then turn right at the T-Junction and cycle along the stretch until another T-junction. Then take a right turn along the road, we reach devil’s fall. This route is the way to Lumbini. After devil’s fall town, we enter a little hills road before the entrance to World Peace Stupa.

The path up to the stupa is very steep and we only manage to push the bike up. We met a Vietnamese friend on the way up and join us along the way. World peace stupa is closed but we manage to have a drink at a café next to the world peace stupa and it is worth the cycle and visit as the view is stunning.

After enjoying the beautiful view of Pokhara, then we cycle downhill enjoying the gliding. Along the way back we visited the cave, Tibetan village and an evening break at a nice river near the Tibetan village. We cycle back and completed our adventure at 6pm before ending our day with a nice dinner and a glass of beer with our Vietnamese friend.
