Day 11 – Nagarkot to Dhulikel

We have another sunrise morning at Nagarkot but we little luck we manage to see a bit of the mountain top but it is just a while and there are no view at Nagarkot for us. So we decided to leave and start our trekking to Dhulikel at 8am after our breakfast. Dhulikel trek is a long trek and it was thought to be tough trek but after the experience is not as tough as the second day trekking from Chisapani to Nagarkot.

The starting treeking is about 2 hours flat from Nagarkot until a stop over hut before descending for 30min down the valley. The guide told us Dhulikkel is across the 2 valley from the hut. Then another 45min ascending back to another peak where we stop for lunch at Talachowk at 11:15am.
We start our final section at 12:15pm after lunch. Its take 30min along the farm at the peak before ascending another 30mins before our final stretch descending down to Dhulikel for 25min. The view along this trek is really beautiful especially if there is mountain view but the weather is not with us and only cloud is surrounding but the hill view is really beautiful.

We reach Dhulikel at 2pm where we found the trek is a little nice.

Day 9 – Chisapani to Nagarkot

Next morning waking up at 5:30am awaiting the sunrise from chisapani for a beautiful mountain view but the crowded clouds is disappointing. So I decided to walk around chisapani for some photoshots until I saw the mountain views at 6:30am. Then I quickly run up to the top of the guesthouse to have the mountain views and it is worth the run with amazing view of another Himalayan scenery.

Then we had our breakfast at 7am before starting our trekking at 7:45am to Nagarkot. There are 3 section of the trek where the first 3 hours is the toughest path where it is flat but the path is muddy and full of leeches which make the walk a bit hard.

We found a way for a fast remedy to get rid of the leech where we put some salts into a small cloth and then when u got a leech and you just have to apply some water into the cloth with salt and then the leech will fall off.

Then the second path is another 1 hour descending to Chaokibayang passing by Jhule.

We had an hour for lunch at Chaokibayang before our 3rd section of the walk. The next section will be a 3 hours 4 wheel path up ascending to Nagarkot.

We reach Nagarkot at 3:45pm checking into Viewpoint Hotel at Nagarkot.
