Journey to Singapore

We drive to Singapore on Boxing Day, 26th December through North South Highway. We decided to use Tuas as I notice woodland are jam. We stop at Gelang Patah for a short meal before entering Singapore. Unfortunately there were jam in Tuas as well. After going through Singapore check point then you may need to buy a autopass in Singapore that cost SGD10.

We went to Orchard on 29th and 30th December to have a look at the Christmas decoration even though is late but there are still christmas decoration and the theme is the elephant which is the icon for year 2011. I drive to orchard through the PIE highway from BKE highway then use thompson road which will pass newton and reach orchard.

We spend our new year in Singapore and the fireworks is the best in Singapore I guess cause the Marina Sand and the surrounding are decorated beautifully over the water front.

After new year, the next best thing of attraction was the JPO, Johor Premium Outlet at Kulai as it was design like a theme park with all the branded shop situated side by side. There are long queue for Coach and bluberry. But the item are not that cheap as there are limited stock and also old item. I would say some of the item are equivalent to Singapore e.g. G2000 shirt selling at RM79 where else Singapore selling at SGD39. Judge for yourself!!!!!

BTW when you are leaving Singapore and while entering Malaysia at the check point, remember to have a 'touch and go' card READY as you may need to use the card once after passport clearing.

Finally our short break are over with a relaxing trip with family.
